Today, we ventured upstairs to the computer lab. This will be a Friday routine. White Day Kindergarten, we will be doing this lesson next week. In the computer lab, we learned how to log on and how to open up the Kindergarten Folder on the Desktop. There are a ton of great websites in the Kindergarten Folder! We started with Starfall. Starfall is a great phonics website. It teaches basic phonics skills in a fun and exciting way for children. I encourage you to visit this website with your child: www.starfall.com.
If you are feeling patient :) open up a Word Document and have your child practice typing our login: BeckK and our password: Beck10. Also, practice closing the browser and clicking the start button (if you have a PC) to shut down the computer.
